Important Notice: Changes to Middle East Travel Cover

If your journey involves transiting through a country or region where the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises against “All But Essential Travel”, please note:

Cover remains in place while you remain airside (within the airport’s international transit area, without passing through passport control or customs)
If you need to leave the transit area, or if your journey is diverted and you are required to enter the country, your cover may be affected.

However, if you are travelling to these destinations as your intended destination, cover will not be available under Able2Travel Travel Insurance. Please see below for important details and alternative cover option.

Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, the FCDO travel advice to the following destinations is now advised against “All But Essential Travel”: Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (including Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Kuwait and Oman.
